UJC ASSURED
Assured isn’t a sticker on a windscreen. It’s the system of documents, checks and disclosures that travels with every car — through the listing, the detail page, and into your hands at collection.
Auction sheet & plain-English notes
The original Japanese auction sheet, shown in full — never cropped — with every mark translated and explained in plain English.
Mileage and history verification
Odometer readings cross-checked against auction and export records before we commit. Inconsistency means rejection, not a discount.
Physical condition inspection
A structured inspection of body, interior, mechanics and electrics, photographed — before bidding on imports, before listing UK cars.
Known defects disclosed
Every flaw we find is listed and photographed before you decide — on the page, above the reserve button, not in the small print.
Clear all-in pricing
One total to collect the car in the UK, itemised. If we can’t stand behind a total, the car isn’t listed. Never “POA”.
Warranty and aftercare arrangement
Warranty structure shown per car. The real supplier and terms are being finalised — marked honestly until they’re confirmed.
THE STATUS WORDS
Cross-checked against an independent record.
Reviewed by UJC and held on file.
A flaw or note shared before you decide.
Part of the one total price shown.
Not yet confirmed — and labelled that way.
NEVER COLOUR ALONE — EVERY STATUS CARRIES ITS WORD AND ICON
HOW A CAR PASSES — OR DOESN’T
Documents and condition line up
The car meets our screening standard. It can be listed, or shortlisted for your search, with its full evidence pack.
Explainable — but your call
Something is worth knowing — a repaired panel, a gap in service stamps. We explain it honestly and you decide if it matters to you.
Risk we won’t pass on
Structural risk, mileage doubt, document anomalies or anything we can’t reasonably explain. Rejected cars never reach you.
WHAT ASSURED IS NOT
Trust survives contact with reality only if the promises are accurate. So we keep them narrow.
A used car is a used car. Wear consistent with age and mileage is normal, and an Assured car will have some.
The auction sheet is not ours. It comes from a third-party auction house, whose standards vary. We translate and explain it — we don’t repackage it as our own certification.
Assured means explained, not flawless. It says the information we hold has been checked, explained and disclosed — nothing more, nothing less.
